Review readings and name changes

Before you start

• An editable batch and access to its alliance.
• The original screenshot as a reference for uncertain readings or identities.

Steps

1. Check type, period and pending decisions

   From Account, choose the alliance and open the batch in its panel's Captures section. Check what it represents before correcting figures. A date warning is not always a blocking issue; the website distinguishes their states.

2. Compare before confirming a name

   The website may propose that a read name belongs to a known player. Compare the current name, evidence and candidates; confirming links the reading to that identity.

3. Resolve each decision and check the summary

   Correcting a figure is not changing the player. “Did not participate” keeps the member; “No longer here” records a departure using the batch date. Check the result before Save to history.

What should be done

A reviewed draft without blocking decisions. Draft synchronisation does not mean the event is already in history.

If something does not fit

The proposed identity is uncertain

Do not confirm on similarity alone. Keep the uncertainty and use the batch's available review alternatives.

A figure or row does not match

Check the original and correct the reading in the editor. Also check period and overlaps; do not remove valid evidence just to make a batch pass.
