Read participation and growth

Choose period and metric, check their dates and do not turn missing data into inactivity.

Who this is for: Members and managers interpreting saved data.

Before you start

  • An account for fuller player profiles and Members.
  • Summary, Breakdown, Progress, events and reports require a player verified on the server, authorised management of that alliance, or operator access.
  • Saved data for the period and metric you want to view.

Steps

  1. Start with the question

Rankings compares an edition; Summary brings averages together; Breakdown shows components; Progress compares cutoffs; a player profile collects their history. They are not five ways to calculate the same thing.

  2. Check source and date

Use More information next to the metric for its actual definition. Total and real power may come from different days; a series' saved maximum is not necessarily the game's maximum.

  3. Check coverage before motivating members

Distinguish zero, no reading and no new data. An average may treat missing values differently from an individual ranking. Check the periods and readings used before comparing two members.

What should be done

A comparison grounded in the right metric, dates and coverage, not a judgement of effort based only on a data gap.

Review my player and access

If something does not fit

I see less data than someone else
It may be an access difference. Check your player link and server; a hidden field does not prove readings are missing.
The value seems old or unexpected
Check that view's date and explanation. Do not fill missing days with zeros or assume all metrics share a reading date.

Panel actions check your permissions and show the current limits. This guide does not grant access or save or send anything by itself.
